Nuffield Scholarship PGCert

This Postgraduate Certificate, worth 60-credits, is only available to current or past recipients of the Nuffield Farming Scholarship. It has been designed in collaboration with the Nuffield Farming Trust. In line with the Trust's aims, the focus of the course is supporting Scholars in:
- Independent research into good practice in either farming, food, horticulture or rural industries outside of their home country
- Exploring the potential for applying these in the context of their home country.
Course structure
- Project Design (optional)
- Data Analysis and Presentation (optional)
- Extended Project (Mandatory)
Since only the Extended Project is core to the programme, scholars can choose the level of support they need to write or (if they are a past scholar) re-write their Nuffield report in an academic style. For those who don’t feel the need to take the optional Nuffield modules, other modules are available. However, we would recommend that scholars without a postgraduate qualification, take all three of the dedicated Nuffield Modules.

- Sustainable Supply Systems
- Waste Resource Management

- Livestock Production Science
- Silage Science
